If you are an expert in your field in the sciences, arts, education, business, or sport, and meet the American government's requirements for the O-1 visa "for individuals with extraordinary achievements and abilities," we invite you to participate in the “Brilliance in Education” program at the Foundation GeniUS. The program brings established scholars and other professionals to the United States, typically for one year, to develop original online educational materials including courses, documentaries, educational software, etc., on topics of the participant’s expertise for non-commercial use (public domain).
Sponsorship recipients are chosen without regard to religion, ethnic and social origin, nationality or gender. The Foundation is not governed by ideologically or commercially defined guidelines. There are no quotas, neither for individual countries, nor for particular academic disciplines. Our selection committee comprises of professionals from all fields of specialization based solely on the applicant’s extraordinary achievements and abilities.
Some credentials that would qualify you for the program are listed below:
Those who are accepted into the program and their families (spouses and children) will get legal assistance with obtaining visas. The participants will be offered a full-time employment as GeniUS Fellows, typically for one year with an option to extend. Compensation and benefits are on par with those of a university professor. The foundation will pay for the participant's and their family's travel expenses to and from the location of their work and for one visit per year to their native country. We also provide the program participants with technical support in preparation of the online educational materials.
The Foundation responds flexibly to individual requirements. If needed, you will be able to improve your command of the English language, participate in conferences, engage in business trips, etc.

- Authorship of scholarly articles in professional journals or other major media in the field;
- High salary/compensation for services as evidenced by contracts or other reliable evidence;
- Participation as a reviewer or judge of the work of others (on a panel or individually); and
- Employment in a critical or essential capacity for organizations or establishments that have a distinguished reputation.
